Kovalam is a lovely place to chill out & enjoy a relaxing time.Hawa beach is quiet but if you want a bit more going on try the beach that joins Hawa - Lighthouse beach - there are loads of places to eat that are very cheap, try Rock cafe for fantastic fresh cooked seafood(tiger prawns,crabs & many types of fish), cocktails at fusion & sun set sitting on the beach wall ahhhh heaven, get up early watch the rise & see the local fisherman pulling in their catch of the day.
