Kovalam in Southern Kerala is one of Kerala’s most popular beach resort areas.
Kovalam is a 16km taxi or bus ride from Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) and Trivandrum International Airport.  Trivandrum also has a railway station that connects it with destinations such as Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Coimbatore, Ooty, Mangalore, Varkala, Calicut and Kanyakumari.
