Comments:
First thing that strikes you is that the name has changed to Hotel Gokulam vanamala. So,

tell the auto/car guy the new name. The room we stayed had a tariff of 700 Rs + taxes for a

non A/C room. Room was just ok. Hot water didn't work and have to call the reception for

them to switch on the centralised heater. There is a Restaurant below where you get decent

food. But, service is terrible also the place was not clean. Now, if you are planning to

hire vehicle through the travel desk, please dont do it. If you are a brave one, get every

thing in writing, otherwise they will fleece you royally at your drop off point. We had an

altercation with the driver who dropped us back to Thrissur. The way the driver, the travel

desk and the hotel manager behaved was beyond comprehension. These people dont have respect

for the guest.

In conclusion, if you are interested in a just ok room close to the temple which serves ok

food and treat you with lots disrepect, this is the place to stay. My suggestion, look

elsewhere :-)
