Shopping on Commercial Street

Commercial Street is a trendy part of Bangalore. It offers restaurants, clothing stores, souvenir shops, etc. The one I particularly liked is Kaveri - this shop had exquisite brass statuettes, hand carved wood items, and things local to bangalore. Bangalore offers tourists a nice flavor of India w/o the hustle and bustle of being in a large city such as Mumbai or New Delhi. You can set your own pace in this delightful town in southern India.I also found the locals to be very friendly and helpful.
