Red Fort Lal Quila Delhi IndiaFort. By cruisingindia.com on Oct 31, 2006.
The Red Fort in Delhi feels almost imposing for anyone visiting it for the first time. It seems like it rises straight out of an ocean of people in narrow, congested streets. The structure was sanctioned in 1639 and took eight years to complete, when Emperor Shah Jahan decided to shift his capital to Delhi.
