The first night tends to be the most appropriate as, having got to the Home, some guests are not keen to go out again to find somewhere to eat, and prefer to have a wash and brush up, a refreshing glass and then dinner. After all, they can start the 'hard work' of enjoying the area tomorrow'! Guests are expected to pre-book dinner. Your host/hostess is well educated, well traveled and fluent in the English language with host having good knowledge of French.
